Last term the junior students talked about how we could make our school a better place. One of the most common requests was for a bigger junior playground. So this term we are finding out what makes a playground fun. We have designed our dream playgrounds and now we need to learn about some of the practical things like keeping safe and having enough space.
This week we visited Bishop's Park. It was great fun! We played on the different equipment and talked about which equipment we liked the best and why. We found out that moving fast in different directions is quite fun!
Looks like you had lots of fun at Bishop Park. Now I know why you were all designing amazing playgrounds. What a great idea. Hope the school will listen to all your requests and improve the junior play area at Muritai for you.
