We have had a lot of fun designing and constructing newspaper towers this week. We were inspired by the recent GoZone Newspaper which featured unusual towers from around the world. Our own towers had to be able to support themselves and had to be made out of only one newspaper and a limited amount of masking tape.
The winners of the tower design and construction competition were:
Jack for the strongest tower (very sturdy base).
Finlay and Leon for the tallest tower.
Amy for the best design (tripod design for balance).
